LINE sticker guidelines
In Peel, a collection's three dots have Request publish on LINE. You send us the set, a person at Tsumida AI reviews it, and if it passes we submit it to the LINE STORE. This page is what a set may hold, what gets it turned down, and what you agree to when you send one.

Who it is for
People in Japan, for now. Sets are submitted to LINE's Creators Market for Japan and go on sale in Japan's LINE STORE. Peel shows the button everywhere, but for now this is only for people in Japan.
How it works
- 1You send itFrom a collection's menu
- 2We check itA person at Tsumida AI
- 3LINE checks itDays to weeks
- 4On saleIn Japan's LINE STORE
You send it, we publish it. Pick a collection, read the slides, and hold the button for three seconds to agree. Then name the set and choose how many stickers go in (LINE sells sets of 8, 16, 24, 32 or 40). There is no price to pick: every set is sold at LINE's lowest. Peel sends the stickers to us, drawn to LINE's sizes.
Short of 8, or of 16? We fill the rest. If your collection has fewer than 8 stickers, or between 9 and 15, we make up the set of 8 or 16 with stickers from Tsumida AI's own collection. Please send us 8, or 16, of your own if you can: a set that is all yours is a better set. Sets of 24, 32 and 40 have to be all yours.
A person reviews every set. A Tsumida AI team member looks at each set against this page and LINE's own rules before anything goes to LINE. A set that does not pass is turned down, and the app says why.
Then LINE reviews it. A set that passes our review is submitted to the LINE Creators Market, where LINE reviews it again. That takes from a few days to a few weeks. LINE can turn down a set we accepted; the app tells you if it does.
Follow it in the app. Settings, then LINE stickers, lists every set you sent and where it is: waiting for review, not accepted, with LINE, turned down by LINE, approved, on sale. Until someone has reviewed it, you can withdraw it there.
What you agree to
We publish it as Tsumida AI. The set is submitted and sold under Tsumida AI's own LINE Creators account and name, not yours.
You give up your rights to these images as stickers. By sending a set, you transfer to Tsumida AI the right to use, submit, publish and sell those images as LINE stickers, and you no longer hold those rights yourself. The full wording is in the terms.
It is not free for you. Once it is on sale, the set costs LINE's lowest price, JPY 190, for everyone, you included. To use it in LINE, you buy it like anyone else.
You are not paid for it. What the set earns goes to Tsumida AI. You get no share of the sales.
You must have the right to send it. Send only stickers made from photos you took or have permission to use, of things you are allowed to show, and of people who are happy to be on a sticker that strangers can buy.
Why you pay for stickers you made
We keep everything free where we can. Peel has editing tools other apps charge for, and they cost you nothing. If it were up to us, putting your stickers on LINE would be free too.
We cannot submit stickers on your behalf. LINE only takes a set from the creator who holds the rights to it. To submit yours legally, we have to ask you for those rights first.
LINE does not give stickers away. Every set in the LINE STORE has a price, so yours needs one too.
Because we submit it, the set is ours. In LINE's eyes the set belongs to Tsumida AI, so to use it you buy it like anyone else. That is not a rule we made up. It is how LINE stickers work.
You can do it yourself. LINE lets anyone sell their own stickers through LINE Creators Market, on the web or with LINE's own app for it, LINE Creators Studio. It takes more steps: an account, the right image sizes, the forms and LINE's review. But the set stays yours, and you earn a share of what it sells.
We're sorry it works this way. It is the only way we have found to help sticker lovers get their stickers into LINE without the paperwork.
What gets a set turned down
Nudity and sexual content. No nudity, no underwear shots, nothing sexual or suggestive, and nothing that sexualises anyone who looks under 18.
Violence and gore. No blood, injuries, weapons pointed at people, cruelty to animals, or anything meant to shock.
Hate and harassment. Nothing that attacks or mocks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age, and nothing aimed at a real person to embarrass or bully them.
Illegal or dangerous things. No drugs, no promoting crime, gambling, self-harm or suicide, and no alcohol or tobacco shown with anyone who looks under age.
Someone else's work. No characters from films, shows, games or comics, no brand logos or trademarks, no artwork, photos or text you did not make, and no celebrities.
Other people without their OK. No photos of people who did not agree to be a sticker, and nothing that shows someone's private details: their address, phone number, a licence plate, a school or work badge.
Politics and religion used to provoke. No political campaigning, and nothing that makes fun of a religion or its symbols.
Advertising. No ads, no web addresses, no QR codes, no social media handles, and nothing promoting a business.
Stickers that do not work as stickers. A set has to be usable in a chat: pictures that are clear at a small size, not blurry or cut off, not all text, not all the same picture, and not a copy of a set that is already on sale. A set's name has to fit what is in it.
LINE's own guidelines apply on top of these, and LINE has the last word on what it sells. We may turn down a set that follows every line here if we think LINE would, or if it is not something we want to publish under our name.
Price
Every set is sold at the lowest price LINE allows for a creators' set: since 1 July 2026, JPY 190 in the LINE STORE (70 coins in the app's Sticker Shop). There is nothing to choose. If LINE changes its lowest price, the set is sold at the new one.
